About Endlessness (Om det oändliga) is a 2019 Swedish drama film directed by Roy Andersson. It was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 76th Venice International Film Festival. At the Venice Film Festival, the film won the Silver Lion for Best Direction
In the film there are various moments of life between past and present: a couple wanders in the war-torn city of Koln, a father and daughter head to a birthday party, teenagers dance outside a bar, soldiers march towards a prison camp. Among the other characters: a priest, a marketing director, a woman who loves champagne, Adolf Hitler and Ivan the Terrible.
