Voltaire High (Mixte) is a French tv series created by Marie Roussin for Prime Video, it is a historical drama set in the early sixties in France when for the first time girls entered a high school.
The revolution at Voltaire High School came in 1963 when for the first time it went from being an all-male high school to a mixed school, welcoming 11 girls as well as about 100 boys. The Voltaire High series recounts the impact of this entrance that now seems normal but at the time was a shock for teachers, parents and the boys themselves.
